Hi to all. I am new here. Looking for an automatic battery swapper diagram which can switch over between run and charge batteries in bedini solid state. For example, as soon as the charge battery reaches to a preset voltage it will become run battery and the run battery will become charge battery. I have two solid state circuits of 5+1 coil each. one is with 5 2n3055 transistors and the other one is with 5 MJL21194 transistors. Thanks for any help.

Welcome mnasim
Do a search for battery swappers. I seen a few but don't know how to add a link. But hit the search feature and type in battery swapper I saw at least 3 in there.

Hi mnasim

If they make one and I don't think they do for the SS SSG. Your batteries won't like it either for they are in 2 different chemical modes. The charge battery is in acid build up and the discharge is in water mode and they must have TIME to equal out. The charge battery will continue to charge for an hour or more. So the battery swapper that Tinman showed is the best to use because it only swaps charge batteries. Also you want to be on top of your charger because you don't want a pile of lead when you get back.

Hi Doug

Thanks for your guidance, I will give a try on Tinman diagram & will integrate only the swapping portion of his circuit including the 2200uf cap on my 5+1 coil, 5 transistors solid state circuit. Will keep the forum posted with the outcome.

Hi mnasim

Good and let us know all the fun you are having. What size batteries is on the run and charge also how many amps are going in and out. The big thing is what do they stop at and where did you start at also the length of time it took to get to max charge?????????? Have fun and good luck
