Something that a lot of so-called inventors out there really exploit:
The Hype cycle. It is actually a marketing ploy, TAUGHT, even, in schools - believe it or not.

Here's how it works:

Now you take any typical clown, pick one, they are many, and you put in front of him, several antiquated free energy projects of past, be that something Tesla contrived, The Muller motor, The Ed Gray motor, The Lockridge, or any notorious item of choice.

All it takes is a revolving of variants, based on the originals. When a project reaches the point in the Gartner hype cycle where it should plateau, and prove productive ... that is exactly when you drop the project, claim progress on a NEW (yet old...) project, and start it's Hype cycle over. When enough time has past, you can return to the first project, because - it will have a NEW audience (mostly), and can prove marketable.

You will see this cycle mature, over and over, in the same manner - only the forum changes, the audience... the same basic ploy exists - and this exact methodology is rampant amoungst those wishing to make money from free energy research.
