Electron flow ( true current flow direction ) is from the Negative potential
to the Positive potential.
Therefore it is irrespective of the polarity of the arc initiating the conductive
path, the electron flow will always be negative to positive
Please note that Electron Flow is opposite to Conventional Current flow direction ( Conventional Current flow was tha assumed direction in which current was beleived to flow....they were wrong )

Thanks ron o,
so by what your saying, once the arc is established its back to normal and the current and electrons flow on the arc.
thanks again phil.
