Hi All

This is cap4 about the same as cap 3 but it is working a lot better. It only has 5 charge/discharges cycle but you can measure the discharge in minutes not seconds. More to come with more cycles on it.

Hi All

Just an update, cap 4 is doing very well and I have moved onto a 33K resistor and it was taking for ever to discharge. So I moved on to a 11.2 ohm resistor and after another 20 C/D we are up to a whopping 11 hrs and 10 minutes drawing over 110 ma at the start and still 20 ma at the end with .226 volts VERY NICE. Next will have to move to a larger amp draw like a motor with a load.

Hi All

This cap 4 is as good as it gets so for now it will be the on that I will use as my base line. So here is some of my results.

With using 11.2 ohms as the most amp draw that I have used and all charge time was a standard 10 seconds. All that I varied was input voltage and will use only an average time on the discharge cycles of 5. The voltages I used were 5.0,14.0,22.0 and 31.5v for these tests the max discharge MA, were 81,93,101 and 113 MA's which all ended at 25MA's at .3 v. The time went like this 7:00,8:20,9:30 and 16:00. So while recording this I see that the higher you put in the voltage the longer the charge in minutes. Very interesting, my question is, will a pulse charge from a motor do the same on this cap ???? Well its something to consider.
