Okay Doug, I'm done guessing so I ask..

Ever since I ran that dam battery my friend gave me I've been having issues..

I'm now working with some 7Ah batteries I see use for.

Number 2 transistor has been blowing out (twice), so I cleaned all the connections, tested all the transistors and number 4 blew.

Re-ran and number 3 blew..

I'm going to replace the balance of them and re-run to see what occurs. Thinking I may have some weak transistors..

Then it dawned on me that you changed out your diodes to something stronger.
Could this be what is happening to me?
And: What were those?

Replaced and ran again

Hi ODR

The 5t is a problem, its to big for a 7AH battery. I have a 4t I use for any small battery and its made with 25ga wire but besides that the pot is turned all the way down and I can charge them in 8 HRS so that tells me it is to strong also but they are NOT lead acid. So with that in mind I would build a one or two with smaller wire for that purpose or disconnect all but one transistor on your 5T. I would put more resistance in your control pot.
