I have seen some vids by hutchison (crystal cells etc..) that were a bit crazy but somehow real...
and I believe he has done some stuff..

but this one has to be a fake---

Or am I missing something??
At least he is making money with it...

cant believe he already made 5000$ with this.

Luc

PS: nevertheless i was looking for that kind of motor.. any clue of what it may be? here he says something about trusting motor.. in other videos (where he only powers it with an antenna) he says something about it being 3 to 26 volts and running some milli amps...
if anybody knows what kind of motor that is.. please let me know...

Is that rock battery? It seems no one can get past the conditioning process yet. I think we fill the tube when the tube is being treated with DC high voltage.

But when I try to do that, the rock short it.

Look into hutchison 's Employment history ... I think that will answer your questions. I doubt very very much he is a fake ..lol... I little eccentric in his older age as it's time to live some life freely... but fake no ...

Thanx Kultus,
but I think i did not formulate this correctly.
I know he exists and has done some great stuff. I wrote above i was impressed by his crystal cells)
And I also know he is very excentric.

what I actually meant is that I was wondering if this video (first post) was real, or if he faked it - (maybe only to make fun of people believing everything etc...)
One of the things making me think this was the presence of those old cigarette filters among the stones.
he was obviously using the bowl as an ashtray.. (loooool)

If I replicate it.. do I have to start smoking again? (looooooooool)

Hmmm

It certainly is a "good one" . There does not seem to be any form of liquid electrolyte ( the rocks look dry ) so how do the electrons flow between the two electrodes to power the motor , i have not got a clue. Obviously it would be quite easy to have an hidden battery inside the motor housing ( he did not show the two motor wires connected together ).

However given his past history of inventions etc , i'm going to give him the "benefit of the doubt" Its not a fake

fake. or maybe i should say an intentional joke..

either way he cleverly held the camera down right at the moment he was dumping the metal bowl. the metal bowl had probably a 3.7v cell in there or something sitting in that cylinder in the center, which he used to quickly sling that battery out and off to the side. You can hear his wrist action and the sound of the battery bouncing. he had one terminal just touching the bottom of the bowl and thus one motor lead, and the other battery terminal touching the other motor lead through the top of the cylinder, with one of those random rocks holding the wire on lol..

but yea, the man had cig butts in there as if he was actually putting out the cigs on the rocks, and boy was he smoking those suckers down to the filter

Hi Magneticitist

I re-watched the video paying particular attention to your comments and i think you are correct. I did , given his previous "track record" give him the "benefit of the doubt" but obviously he fooled this old fool.
Well spotted and i also agree with your "intentional joke" comment. However if Luciano is correct with his $5000 i think there's easy money to be made in "overunity"

Hey Ron! its great to see you guys. you know me i come and go lol.. but i suppose my conclusion was heavily biased by my opinion of how well a random rock assortment can power a load, the way he was showing lol.. obviously everyone would be skeptical.. but as usual we seem to have the same rules around here.. if you are trying to genuinely show something amazing, that requires people to suspend disbelief.. well you need to do a flawless showing. John did not give us a flawless showing, and in fact left open a very easy "solution" to how he could have done it in the way i described.. had he given a flawless showing i would be back to the drawing board. And John has said himself that he has a lot of rich friends that toss him thousands of dollars from time to time for his research.. Maybe to him it is not so serious because he can always use his profits to genuinely show the world something amazing, even if it isn't exactly what he was "hyping up".
