Hi ElectronixHive

Obviously an ex-military device ( the arrow symbol ) .
All outputs and inputs are DC
The smaller brush sets will be high voltage , so be careful ( could be at least 350 volts , if from a transmitter power supply maybe as high as 700 volts ! )
Some of these devices ran at either 12 or 24 volts , others were designed to run at 24 and be able to charge 12 volt batteries.

The capacitors are to reduce spark interference etc ( given age... best replaced )

Photograph shows a couple of odd wires ( one is connected to motor case ... earth )
Does it have a permanent magnet stator or a field winding ?

I would suggest carefully applying 12 volts DC to one of the larger brush sets and see what happens ( not very scientific , i know ! )

ron
