i was just thinking.. as much as people like myself may believe the "powers that be" in this world try to do everything in their power to keep certain establishments as they are, without change, and to regulate a system of proportionality, where few have many and many have few, Nikola Tesla managed to do so much for the world.. even in the face of the ridiculously powerful elements that had opposed him. its funny how human greed sort of went hand in hand in realizing part of Tesla's dream when it comes to globalizing the transmission of electrical energy.

Edison wanted "safe" DC, but this of course would be extremely costly in comparison. it would have meant few would have the luxury, assuming they could afford it. not to take anything away from Edison.. but it IS quite a nice setup you have there by visualizing rich people paying rich amounts for DC transmission into their homes, where all the lighting was in the form of costly incandescent bulbs, invented by himself. then on the other hand you have a man introducing a much less costly transmission, not to mention a bulb that will light your home that is also much less costly (floro).. i mean, can you imagine how Edison must have felt? lol,, its awesome.

but long-distance AC allowed for a much easier reach to a much wider customer range.

Big Electric of course still has its devious methods and corporations can still do their thing by taking advantage of other countries who have not yet fully implemented power transmission on their own, but the knowledge is out there and the ability is unquestionable. at the end of it all, people the world over can take Tesla's genius and use it to their advantage, whether they are powerful people or not, they just need to witness his work and learn by his example.

Nicely said ^^

But those same BIG corps will always keep it in away that theres a demand for it.

With demands comes THE PROVIDERS wich comes with Service wich comes with a Bunch of Vampires wich in turns suck you dry and wich in turn makes THEM PROVIDERS alot of $$$

Thats about it in a nutshell ^^

you can probably find these pdf files somewhere on the net but if not:
names pretty self explanatory. none of these were written by Tesla though.

^apparently scanned files the FBI had on Tesla retrieved via the FOI act

Hey Guy's , Do ya'll know if schematic's were ever found of Tesla's Unipole Generator or Dynamo ? Not the faraday version one but, the actual generator he later referenced .. I think that was what it was called but, I can't seem to find where it's at or if it was patented .. It was referenced in some letters that I was reading that Tesla wrote .. I don't know if it was among the stuff that went missing upon his death.. Apparently some great stuff was confiscated when he Died they sure passed the ball and did magic trick's to make it disappear.. If ya'll wouldn't mind pointing me in the direction of it, if ya'll find it I'd appreciate it , Thank's

Hey Kudzu i believe the motor you are talking about is usually referred to as the "Dynamo Electric Machine" as per his patent You must be logged in to see this link.

in many places online you will find references to Tesla's "modification" of the Faraday disc generator however ive never seen an actual patent of these mods, only online pics of what looks like a patent drawing, such as this one You must be logged in to see this link.

thats the one where he simply improved upon the Faraday disc by creating a larger magnet as well as those curvy "lines" that were cut into the disc which were supposed to help eliminate back emf.
This Dynamo was not only supposed to be electrically efficient(as far as unipolar generators went) but it was designed in a way where "Securing" the current contacts were easy and made the whole design more robust.

I do not recall every really reading anything from Tesla's own words about any other type of Unipolar style dynamo, although the man created many many electrical generators and modifications to them..

Hi Kudzu, i think MAG is right on saying that you are talking about that patent 406968 :))
Its the only one i know of where Tesla in his own words talk about improving the Faraday Dynamo.

Hey Thank's Guy's , I'm still not sure that was the one that it refered to, it may be though as I'm new to Tesla stuff ... You know back in school if Tesla was referred to, it was as an obscure footnote ... So, all this is new to me (I think he was awesome but, nobody told me much about him back then)... I had to learn stuff that I've never used since, instead ...LOL... Thank's for the info Guy's
