not sure if it will be possible to get this stuff outside the US but you could use Metglass and laminate it up to make super cores, (stuff is either 400 times or 4000 times I can not remember the increment, but more magnetically conductive than nickel iron traditionally used in transformers, and some degree better than pemalloy, but it only comes in paper thin sheets, so you have to spend a bit of time laminating it up, unless you just roll it up :) They do give out free samples, as I have some here, but they are very small, and they will bug you to death for details on what you are using it for, with email after email on the subject. I have not replied to the last 3 and yet I still get one a month demanding an update, on my project. Just a warning. ok they do not export so getting it out of the country would require getting someone to purchase it here in the states and then shipping it for you to experiment with and build with.
