Heres are some pictures on the Gramme Dynamo.

Zénobe Gramme profession was a Carpenter...;-)

This is the improvements made on the one from Antonio Pacinotti by Zénobe Gramme in 1869...


Heres the one from Antonio Pacinotti...looks like your torriod setup TM...^^


This pic here i found on a french webpage with "copyright" on it so does this mean i have the "Right to Copy" it...so i did...lol

Hi 49er,

I have seen some vids of them running but in that time period the energy production on them Dynamo`s was pretty low for them BIG setups...lol
But for back than it was ofcourse super duper awesome...lol

I guess they didnt know much about eddi currents back then lol as they are useing solid iron as core's.
But these pics are fantastic TJ
One thing though-i dont see the one i was refering to in my email lol

Its in spanish but she just saying that its from 1868 and some basic info on it...;-)

I did ask him for the plans, he did say he will sent pics and so but till now nothing...lol

Hi TM,

The design itself is very simple...some of them machines looks real complicated but they are not...;-)
If we make one without all the eddy`s and with just abit of neodynuim just to start the field going it would be awesome...
I`ll put some more lateron in here...i`ve been looking at this stuff for a pretty long time now...^^

Hello. I would be interested to know if the building of one of these has been attempted/completed lately. Also, whether anyone understands why a solid core is possible with this design.
