I'm Kyle, this is me and my daughter, she's 3. I worked most of my adult life as a helicopter loggerman, later moving into carpentry, RV Building, then RV Service Technician Work. I now sell solar, work on RV's, Do Irrigation in the summer, and well, take care of my kiddo as a single parent, she lives with me. We like to explore BC Canada in our 4x4, hang out in the mountains, do road trips, fish and she loves to tinker right along. As I learn more about electronics, so does she, she already knows how to hook up an LED to a battery, the polarisation, understands battery charges - and has grown up (pretty much) to think that the sun, is what charges batteries, and coils LOL Perhaps slightly misinformation, but no more vicious than Santa Clause, in fact, I like the idea that, that concept is rather deeply embedded in her mind. That nature will, and can provide.

Cheers All

Its a good thing that you are getting her into all that electronics stuff because you may get some good idea from her in the near future.

I think i need to update my pictures because i look totally different now, it will be an update but not an upgrade ;-)))

Okay, I'm in.

Follow the link and don't hope for the best...
I've 'never' done this kind of stuff before.
Attempting to build a website on what 'I' know best.
Hoping to help others do what I can so easily (kinda like what I've been learning for you all).

You must be logged in to see this link.
Click on the video tab, only one I have up is the intro...
Yes, my alias is Uncle Bob.

Kinda like the handle I gained here; ODR.
Uncle Bob means I'm teaching/help you and I'm no where near that here.

Oh ya, Class of 1970 (high school)...

ODR origin.
Was skiing a few years back with some of my daughters collage friends and found myself waiting for them at the bottom of the run.
One of her cute little friends came up and said "Not bad for an 'old dawg".

I asked, slightly confused, what do you mean?
She responded, with a smile I will forever remember, "Old dawgs rule. I hope I can ski near as good next year." and we awaited the remainder of the crew.
Kinda stuck with me.
Brings back that smile every-time I use it.

Twally-a fellow trucky lol.I went driving trucks for a couple of years just for a change-if the money was better i'd still be doing it.Here is a couple of pics of my last job building a breakwater in a place called albany western aus.The first is one i took in the rearvision mirror and the second is of another truck dumping to show how far we got in one day.As you can see-not much room to back all that way out-any mistake and we get a swim, truck and all lol.
