Hey 49er,
I wonder if Mineral Oil would work ? Should be a lot less flammable if it would .

Hi K

Sorry that I didn't get back to you on the oil. Yes it will work BUT at what temp is it going to cloud up is the question and it will because it is a oil. So that is what we will have to find out?? Also if you can put that in a vacuum its cloud point will be 10 to 15 degrees less. A coke in the freezer is liquid until you open it and then it freezes down quiet fast.

Hey totoalas,
Welcome to the forum ... I would have welcomed you before but, I just now noticed you're new ..
49er and totoalas ,
I'm wondering if the florescent bulb get's warm with this type of use ,, You know how florescent bulb's usually get very warm .. Wouldn't that make it clear up fast if it was cloudy ?

@ 49er, every coke I forgot in the freezer , if it didn't explode the can / they froze solid ..
Although, most time's I would find it a day or two later with frozen drink spewed all in the freezer to clean up .

Hi K

I was talking about the 2l bottle with water only and not the one with the bulb in it. just to clear that up, no wonder you didn't want alcohol in the bottol..LOL
