Hi Tinman/or anyone.... I am using the Bedini circuit with a reed switch with four one inch x one inch Neo N52 magnets on the rotor. I am trying to build a generator coil that will produce at least 12 VDC. The motor is only running at 1,345 RPM's and I can't seem to build a coil that will produce over two volts. This is an air core coil.
I have two rows of magnets on my rotor that are spaced one inch apart (but not staggered.) In other words they are side by side. I have built three coils using 24 gauge wire ranging from 250 turns to 650 turns. The coils are laying 1/8" inch above the rotor strattling both the north pole and the south pole magnets at the same time.
I believe one problem may be my rotor is not turning fast enough. Any ideas how to build a generating coil that will work at 1,345 RPM's?
